With college tuition on the rise across the nation, Greensboro College made the bold decision to lower their tuition and make their high-quality private college education accessible to more students. Next, they needed to let prospective students know about this exciting move—and show them why a small liberal arts college in North Carolina was a great choice.
Alongside campus leaders, we worked through a brand discovery process that honed in on what makes Greensboro College truly special: their close-knit community, personalized approach and firm commitment to setting each and every student on their own right path. We collaborated with Lure Design to develop a multimedia campaign announcing the tuition change. Soon after, we launched an entirely new website to introduce the revitalized brand.
Our ongoing efforts build awareness and attract new prospective students to apply. Paid search (PPC) and paid social media campaigns launched in 2019 have elevated Greensboro College’s profile in key geographic areas. Campaign data enabled us to identify and penetrate new regions with a high concentration of ideal prospects. The results have been striking, with some months netting up to a 50% year-over-year increase in the number of leads delivered to the enrollment team.
When COVID-19 crushed plans for an in-person graduation ceremony in 2020, we helped Greensboro College strategize and implement a dynamic virtual commencement, which included a website that streamed a video ceremony, and custom graphics for graduates and their families to share across social media.
